100/10 We went on a Monday afternoon. The place was empty so we had no wait time. Our server was a tall young man. He was very nice and you can just tell he enjoyed his job. Our food didn’t take long to come out. The food itself was so freaking amazing. They have big portions too so definitely come hungry. Don’t make plans after eating here because you will be put in a food coma. Will recommend this place to others and also look forward to coming back when we’re in Dallas again.

Food was amazing! We had whole wings, chicken tenders with a waffle, and the Mac n cheese was on point!! Side note: the kale greens 🔥🔥🔥🔥. The waitress was super sweet and attentive, her name was MJ. Will definitely return when the craving for chicken and waffles comes on. For the drink I got the Ne-Yos lemonade which was strong and fruity.

Johnny’s chicken and waffle in Dallas it was very pleasant going in the hostess was very nice. She seated us inside at first. I wanted to sit outside so we moved to the patio area. There was R&B music playing, which was enjoyable. We looked at the menus. they have a full menu. They have drinks got our food beautiful presentation. Everything looks wonderful the waffle 10 out of 10. The chicken I have to give it a three out of 10 it was not fully cooked all the way through and I really couldn’t eat it all. It was not easy to pull apart. The flavor was there though from what I did taste the scrambled eggs were good. The potatoes were 10 out of 10 the grits were a little undercooked and runny in the fish I heard was dry. The waitress did not really cater to us like I thought she should have because we ordered a Heineken that we never ever get, but we paid for it. Also with this restaurant being an upscale breakfast restaurant I think they should have real silverware and that serve you plasticware with a salt and pepper packet in it. They didn’t even have salt and pepper shakers they should get some well. This was my experience at Johnny’s and this is my review of Johnny’s if you go to Johnny’s, ask him to cook your chicken just a little bit longer and remind the waitress to bring you everything that you’re ordering thank you.

Higher portions... Really good food. The fried shrimp on the mac and cheese was like on a different level to be honest with you. My salmon was extremely seasoned. Everything was good. My margarita and my friends Margarita had a whole whole whole whole whole whole lot of alcohol in it which was awesome couldn't ask for more.

Donyea provided impeccable service! Quite prompt and very attentive. The atmosphere was a nice vibe with chill R&B tones playing in the background. My friends and I dropped in on an early Tuesday afternoon, therefore the parking was free in the adjacent lot, and it wasn’t busy. GRATUITY IS AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED ON ALL TABS The food portions were ample: Chicken Quesadillas - tasty, no guacamole Loaded waffle fries - tasty, very large portion Chicken eggrolls - not my fave, salty Chicken Cobb salad - tasty, huge Deep fried biscuits - 10/10!!! Whole chicken wings - kinda twangy, 3/10 Would come here again !!

We found this place off of reviews out of town from Milwaukee and it didn’t disappoint. Our server was Mikayla and she was exceptional and I don’t think our experience would have been as great without her. She was kind helpful and fast and always made sure we were good at all times but the food hit on alll levels and the DJ was a vibe and the volume wasn’t super loud so we could talk and enjoy our time as a group. Oh food is very affordable as well Thanks again Mikayla we appreciate you and if you come in ask for Mikayla.

It’s my birthday and I was recommended by a friend. I came for Sunday brunch. We were seated almost immediately. Food was 10/10, drinks were 10/10 and the Service was 10/10. Vibes all around was there. Donyea was our server and he did a phenomenal job. Very friendly and him and the DJ both gave birthday shots. When I’m in town I’ll definitely be back. Don’t hesitate to go.
